Our adjustable beds make transferring in and out of bed simple for a variety of mobility conditions. Our height-adjustable home hospital beds can lower below standard wheelchair height, which facilitates transferring from your chair to the bed. For transferring out, the beds can rise above your chair or mobility device height to allow you to use gravity to assist in getting out. Either half of the bed can be raised to create a sloping angle to further assist with this process.

Our beds can also be adapted for the following transfer methods:

  • Assisted transfers, also known as a stand and pivot
  • Self-transfer with gravity assist
  • Patient lifts
  • Harness transfers
  • Roof-mounted lifts
  • Sit to stand transfer

Our hospital beds for home use come with a variety of adjustable bed options and addons that vary slightly from bed to bed. Options are half rails for the head, bamboo rail covers, a standard or cherry finish headboard, a Joystick or Big Button hand control, a hospital grade power cord, locking casters, and a battery backup. A 5-inch locking caster is exclusively available for the Supernal Hi-Low.

Our home hospital beds can be adjusted to suit special needs. The Trendelenburg position angles the bed so the feet are above the head to help those with issues like low blood pressure. The Reverse Trendelenburg angles the body so the head is elevated over the feet, to help alleviate regurgitation problems and acid reflux. Finally, the Cardiac Chair position helps provide relief and circulation.

Our Supernal brand is designed to fit any home décor to keep your bedroom from feeling like a clinical environment. These beds are upholstered to match traditional home decor and are made with high-quality materials that will fit in with any home design.

The Supernal Hi-Low line of home hospital beds has our unique “wall hugging” feature. This moves the bed back closer to the wall as you elevate the head, so that your nightstand and bedside tables stay within reach at any position, allowing maximum comfort no matter how you choose to sleep.
